On Tuesday, Brown found himself in a standoff with Los Angeles police at his Tarzana home after a woman claimed the singer allegedly threatened her with a gun. When the police arrived to Brown’s home, responding to the 911 call, they were denied entrance to the premise until they obtained a search warrant.
During that time, Brown was in his home and posted a few videos to his Instagram, railing against police and proclaiming his innocence. Finally, he said, “Yo, you know all this bullsh*t going on man, I’m just gonna turn the other cheek and drop some music.”
And dropped he did just as soon as he posted the $250,000 bail and went home. Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos defended his client on Twitter Wednesday, writing, “Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy.”
In May, he released the first official single, “Grass Ain’t Greener,” off his forthcoming album Heartbreak on a Full Moon . A release date has yet to be announced.
